The endless copywriting cycle framework:

Most marketers bang out some copy and never look at it again.

They don’t optimize.

And as a result, they miss out on a huge opportunity.

Because marketing is testing.

You can know everything about:

  • marketing

  • copywriting

  • human psychology

But if you don’t know how to run A/B tests, iterate, and improve...

Then you’re cutting your upside off at the kneecaps.

Here’s how my team and I write copy with the The Endless Copywriting Cycle:

How it works:

  1. Research and discover

  2. Write, edit and publish the copy

  3. Validate with your audience, A/B test to optimize

  4. Repeat. Again… and again… and again…

When you’re first creating and marketing your product you:

  • identify your ideal customer

  • research their problems/pains and desires

  • write the initial copy

Once you’ve released your product, you’ll find that what you had in mind doesn’t always 100% align with reality.

And that’s totally fine.

You just have to iterate.

And you repeat the cycle from the beginning.

But this time:

  • you research your previous buyers

  • rewrite your copy with a new angle

  • test it again

This cycle is endless.

And with each iteration, your conversion rate and revenue should improve over time.

But don’t waste so much time on “small win” A/B tests.

Start with big swings by testing variables such as:

  1. Your hero section

  2. The big idea you use as your main value prop

  3. The pain points, objections, and dreams of your reader

Keep testing until you feel like you can’t iterate any more.

And then test some more ;)

Now it’s your turn.

💥 How to take action: Create a file and collect all your customers questions, doubts, problems, fears, pains, … everything. Then once every 3 months go over your file and your copy and adapt it.
